Clinical Supervision for Individuals and Groups

Being a lifetime learner.

I love being a student.

I am fortunate that I had and still have many great teachers, supervisors, mentors, coworkers, clients, and supervisees in my life, all of whom have taught me a great deal and still do.

I truly believe that there is no end to learning, and by learning I don’t mean only academics but just learning from life and others.

Love of learning and teaching led me to become a supervisor.

Being a supervisor provides me with an opportunity to work with associates who are in the process of completing their 3000-plus hours required as part of an internship to become a licensed therapist or social worker.

As someone who has gone through the same process, I do know how challenging and long this process can be. Even though the process is long, this training is essential for professional development.

As mental health professionals, we are responsible for working with people who need help with their mental health and their lives. Therefore, the more experience we have, the better we can serve our clients.

Self-care is important to therapists, too.

As we encourage our clients to seek self-care, we need to follow the same advice.

During this process of your internship, you will be learning, training, and working hard. You must take time for your self-care and maintain healthy boundaries with yourself, your coworkers and clients, and in your personal relationships.

You will need to learn to take care of yourself, especially when you are in a role of supporting others.

Both individual and group supervision are available.

If you are looking for a clinical supervisor and in need of support, learning, feedback, and guidance, I will be happy to see if we can work together.

This is an educational process that offers so much more than learning.

It’s an opportunity for growth, knowledge, accomplishments, fulfillment, and knowing yourself better and deeper as a person, a professional, and a therapist. Everyone needs to continue to be challenged.

You chose this path for a reason. Most likely, one of the reasons you selected this professional path is to allow you to be a lifetime learner.
